Collection: Smart Games

The Smart Games story began 30 years ago with the vision of the founders Rolf Vandoren and Ariane Van den Bossche. They started as a distribution company making a strong selection in toys and games that were not only fun to play but also let people grow.

Due to the changing distributing market the founders decided to develop the first ‘one player multi-level logic game’, together with their inhouse design team. The mechanics of the first SmartGames were simple, children needed to crack their brains by puzzling roads, boats, or pinguins on the gameboard to solve the challenge.

At first, they started to distribute their own product line towards the smaller toy shops. By demonstrating and letting the consumers get a taste of the challenging multi-level aspect of their games, it quickly became clear that SmartGames engaged people into a world of play, while stimulating their cognitive skills.

Although SmartGames is primarily known for their single-player logic games, the brand evolves towards more multiplayer options and digital games. The games come with a set of rules and challenges. Due to the different levels of difficulty, SmartGames allows players to progress and tackle more complex challenges as they improve their skills.
